After my first "big" saddle I decided to refine it a little more... Starting with a new tree, I made this one out of wire, air-dry clay, and a pop can, I am pretty happy with how it turned out! I also switched out the blank studs like on the other saddle for "diamond" ones! I added some more detail to the fenders... Complicated the cinch strap a little more... I like it more though, it is fun to do. Then, I put it all together! I snatched Un-Named Valentines bridle - it does look good on him though... ;) Amazingly I even had time to finish painting a portrait horse! Ditto is a Quarter x Percheron cross to he was strong, stocky, and had a very wide girth! (Much bigger than the models!) Since I rode Ditto at Disney on a trail ride, I put his Mickey head hair cut on him! He even has silver horseshoes! Incredibly I was able to finish both projects in one sitting! Thanks to my furry little foot warmer! Hope you liked him! (and the saddle)
