Sorry for the lack of posts, I have been busy! First I got my very first traditional scale rider and promptly tacked up Un-Named Valentine to try her out! I didn't like her boots so I threw them away, and made her a new pair of Jodpur boots! Then I made Val a hunter snaffle bridle! I really like how the browband turned out! I also added braided reins. Then, I made this! I know it is not *perfect* but this is my very first attempt at a trad scale english saddle and I am very pleased with how it turned out! I still need to make the billet straps and the girth, and I need to order stirrups from Rio Rondo, I made safety stirrup real quick just so I could take some pictures of the rider on it. I think it fits her pretty darn well! I made a quick bridle rack to hold my trad scale bridles until I can make a real "Tack Rack." Since I had some free time I tacked up Ditto in "trail ride" tack, although he actually wore a curb I used a snaffle because it is softer. I tacked Gunner and set up some games and trail entries. I also decided to see if I had any other horse that could use Nutmeg's performance entry, I think maybe I should give her a break because she has already won multiple blue ribbons. I tried out Mr. Pringle and I liked it, but maybe his color should be green, he is a stallion! Pink! Since I was having fun I started playing with "Lily." Lily is a big help around the farm from helping to train foals, to putting tack away! Somewhere along the way this happened... I was startlingly neat! Enjoy your summer!
